I repeat: How many of you would put up with a customer who hasn't paid, continues to makes demands, and threatens you with legal action when you ask for one small thing that the continuance of has caused nothing but headaches for you? How much money would it take to make such a thing make it worthwhile?

You're wrong about the documents as well... privacy and DMCA are covered in the TOS which has been a part of the hosting company's site since 2002. Before 2002 we had a different TOS and it changed when we changed data centers and laws also changed at that time. Research, research, research before you go stating "facts." Lisa Spangenberg is also known as Medievalist in other venues and has a site called Digital Medievalist. In addition, we never once cited the DMCA in connection with the issues, the site owner and the lawyer did. Research, research, research...

"... in response to a telephone call" (note the singular). There were so many phone calls that I lost count and the offending site owner could have cared less about that or our other customers or anything else except "her way or no way."

I repeat: How many of you would put up with a customer who hasn't paid, continues to makes demands, insults you, and threatens you with legal action when you ask for one small thing that the continuance of has caused nothing but headaches for you? How much money would it take to make such a thing make it worthwhile?

"They gave their client only an hour to retrieve the database." Wrong again. The client refused for more than 24 hours to do anything about it, then was given a final hour to remove the harassing posts (not the email address) at which time the site owner threatened legal action, which is grounds for immediate termination.

If she wanted to move which she stated she did much earlier in the day, why wasn't she retrieving her databases then?
